Our story
We built the tool we couldn't afford
ImuAssist started with a familiar complaint: teams need project management, but enterprise suites are priced for enterprises. So we built a calm, affordable toolkit — Kanban, tasks, projects and sprints — from Kathmandu for teams everywhere.
How we got here
From spreadsheet chaos to calm boards
The spreadsheet ceiling
Every growing team we knew was juggling Excel sheets, WhatsApp messages and sticky notes. Work moved, but visibility didn't.
The price shock
Standard tools cost more per user than most Nepali teams earn per seat. The r/agile thread said it plainly: 'We built a Kanban app because we couldn't afford Jira.' [CLIENT-COPY: confirm permission before quoting the community thread]
A Nepal-built answer
We designed ImuAssist around the four things teams actually use — Kanban, tasks, projects, sprints — and stripped the rest.
Free for the ones just starting
A genuinely free plan for small teams, honest NPR pricing after that, and support that answers when Kathmandu works.
Our mission
Calm project management for the 99% of teams
We believe planning power shouldn't be locked behind enterprise budgets. Every team — an agency of five, a startup of twenty, a classroom of fifty — deserves tools that fit both its work and its wallet.
